Honor & Awards
Exhibited at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) alt.ctrl 2025, Day of the Devs, IGN Live, CatCon…
A finalist for the IGF alt.ctrl.GDC Award, recognizing innovation in alternative controllers.
Consistent viral traction across social media, TikTok, Instagram, X, and Rednote (dozens of viral posts each averaging 100K–500K+ views and thousands of engagements)
Featured by major outlets including The Game Awards, IGN, and CNET.
Contribution
Prototyped and engineered a custom cat-butt controller combining wood, foam, copper wiring, and a pressure-sensor array, processed via Arduino to detect multi-point touch input.
Built a real-time data pipeline from Arduino to Unity via WebSocket, integrating filtering logic to ensure stability and low-latency interaction.
Designed and implemented core gameplay loops and feedback systems adapting to hardware responsiveness, creating a tactile, absurd, yet emotionally engaging experience.
DEtails
The game integrates a pressure-sensitive interface connected to an arduino, designed to detect and analyze player input when interacting with the cat's butt.
With each tap, the game is measuring the intensity and location of each touch or smack.
This data is transmitted to the game engine in real-time, enabling dynamic feedback and reactive animations based on the player's input.sd
